Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Anna Gunn is an American actress. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio and she continued her love of the theatre. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna started her acting career in Chicago-area theatres for a couple of years. Then she moved to TV and film. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big character in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a the highlights of her acting career. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast consisting of four audio-based plays. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of his life.
