Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of young heartache achieved widespread popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift began to show an enthusiasm for the industry of music at a young age. The trajectory of her career was rapid through the play of kids to her first appearance on stage in crowds of people. Swift began writing music at the age of 11. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Swift was inspired by artists in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks in order to write original music that expressed the apathy she experienced at the age of 13. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to reaching out to the country music labels.
