Selena Gomez has a worldwide name as an actor and a singer. She's been a part of numerous projects, however the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Selena Marie Gomez's full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on the 22nd day of July 1992, at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena was born. As a 9-year-old Selena made her first role on the stage when she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. This was when she became one of the children who performed with the most well-known historical anthropomorphic dinosaur, the purple one. Selena was a part of several episodes in episodes 7 and 8 between 2001 and2003. Selena Gomez was not the only singer who sang on Barney and His Friends from 2001 to 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group also. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several roles in other programs and movies, but she was not much success. There was a small role in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003 and another in 2004 as Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. She also was given the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2006 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
