Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire in Montreal's West Island is a tiny sleepy town. The people who aren't familiar with this term tend to think it's an island that's west of Montreal However, in reality the West Island is home to every aspect of Lachine west to the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is often called her birthplace. However, she only was there for a brief period of time. Brugel grew up in Courtice close to Oshawa Ontario. At the beginning of her life she wanted to be a performer but an unexpected growth spurt made it impossible. In an article written by the Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. After I surpassed my male counterparts and gave up, I decided to give up. A lot of dancers go from dancing to acting. In the case of Brugel, it was her drama teacher who encouraged her in that direction. The teacher who suggested she take on a part in the school's annual production. The teacher who suggested she pursue a part the annual school production. Following her award of the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. Over the last 20 years, Brugel's work been seen on both the small and large screen. Her work gained most recognition when she landed her role as Rita in the acclaimed television series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor on the show in the season 1 which was viewed only at times.
